How real IDs look

Stores show platform versions. Consoles hide most of it. PC launchers show a small revision. None of that starts in a random CSS grid.

People screenshot a menu, add “v0.8.4 Alpha,” and upload. We do not treat that as a manifest.

Comparing numbers

Higher is not newer if both numbers are invented. Ignore “update your leak” posts.
